Group Tours Available

ACCESS

Admission to the Museum, its Permanent Collection Galleries, and temporary exhibition is FREE. Hours are by appointment or by bumping into the Museum Director on the street. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets and guide animals are allowed.

Visits to the Museum may accommodate Groups of up to 5 (five) people simultaneously. All visitors are provided with a complimentary printed Museum Map and catalogue of the current temporary exhibition (if applicable).

Items from the Physical Objects Collection may be viewed during Museum visits; this must be arranged via request during the visit booking process.

There is NO mobile app available for download.

 

Visitors Should Bring Their Own Headphones For Health And Safety Reasons.

EQUIPMENT

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own earbuds or headphones for health and safety reasons.

Please note that wireless/Bluetooth headphones are not compatible with the Museum.

If compatible headphones are unavailable to a visitor, we offer a Free Headphones Checkout Service, allowing a single pair of headphones to be provided for a single user free of charge upon surrender of a valid form of identification for the duration of the visit. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

 

Drawing is Permissible.

PERMISSIONS

Drawing, painting, sculpting, performance, and conceptual artmaking are encouraged while visiting the museum.

Audio recording is strictly forbidden without permission of the Director.

Photography for personal or academic use is permissible. Photography or videography for commercial, reproduction, or broadcast purposes is not permitted unless by prior arrangement.

 

All visitors meet privately with our Director and Chief Curator.

OTHER SERVICES

A complimentary Coat Check is offered. Please be aware that the Museum is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Self-Guided Tours are available. Please see the Gallery Guide for details. Guided Tours conducted by the Director and Chief Curator may be arranged ahead of time if requested during visit booking.

An Information Desk is provided to help visitors with wayfinding both inside and outside of the Museum. The Museum assumes no responsibility for missed flights, buses, trains, or ferry boats.

Visitors who are traveling and have no local telephone access may access our free Wifi (if the Director is able to get a mobile signal at the visit location). By using our free Wifi service, visitors agree not to abuse this service by partaking in illicit file sharing/torrenting activities.

All visitors are granted free access to meet with the Museum Director. The Director welcomes your comments, suggestions, and complaints.

 

Members receive one complimentary beverage per visit.

MEMBER SERVICES

Members are granted free access to the Members Room in our Frank Gehry Wing(™ pending) during each visit.

Members are allowed the use of an inflatable comfy pillow for the duration of their visit.
