Exposition Space is the Museum of Portable Sound’s temporary exhibit gallery. The Exposition Space is housed in our Frank Gehry Wing along with our exclusive Members Room.

Our ongoing series of temporary exhibitions allows the Museum of Portable Sound to explore subject matter outside the realm of those covered by our Permanent Collection Galleries, or to give a platform to artists working with sound as their primary medium. Our Exposition Space programme features exhibitions put together by both our Chief Curator and a series of invited guest curators. Temporary exhibitions are usually about 10-15 minutes in duration so they can be easily visited alongside a tour of the rest of the museum. Admission to the Exposition Space is free.

While you’re here…

…we need your help. For four years, we have managed to keep admission to the Museum of Portable Sound free for all. But this model hasn’t proven to be sustainable. If you value what we do, and would like to help us continue to fulfil our mission of bringing the culture of sound to the world one visitor at a time, please consider making a donation or supporting us long-term on Patreon.
