Audio Heritage Awards

Annual Lifetime Achievement Award for Audio Heritage, awarded to Adam Curry, MYV VJ and Father of the Podcast.
The first of our Audio Heritage Awards (“The AHAs”) is the 2018 Annual Lifetime Achievement Award for Audio Heritage, awarded to Adam Curry on World Heritage Day.

First revealed on World Heritage Day 2018, the Museum of Portable Sound is proud to sponsor the Audio Heritage Awards (“The AHAs”), which serve to commemorate and celebrate the contributions of exceptional individuals whose work has furthered the cause of the preservation of the world’s audio heritage.

Our first award, the Annual Lifetime Achievement Award for Audio Heritage, was announced via our Twitter account as having been awarded to Adam Curry, the former MYV VJ responsible for helping to develop the technology that makes podcasting possible. We would be honoured to present the award to Mr Curry in person the next time he is in London.

We look forward to expanding the AHAs beyond this Annual Lifetime Achievement Award. If you are interested in collaborating with our staff on the Audio Heritage Awards, please contact us.
